Wood sculptures had been carved in the Arboretum in Krtiny, owned by the Mendel University in Brno, only until 2003. We at The Upper Mill would like to revive this nice tradition. The sculptures will be made without noise, using only axes and chisels. We want to make a bell-tower for the mill and a post box this year. Of course you can join with your own designs! We have some big and smaller logs of various woods to give this year. The finished art works are to stay at The Upper Mill or to be given to the municipality, depending on your decision. This event includes a guided tour around the sculptures in The Arboretum in Krtiny.
